BIOMASS FUELS

A Reliable Alternative for Power Generation

About Marutibio Fuel – Powering the Future with Premium Biomass Pellets

At Marutibio Fuel, we deliver a cutting-edge energy solution through our high-quality densified wood pellets — a sophisticated and sustainable alternative to conventional fuels. Engineered for efficiency, our pellets contain just 8–10% moisture, enabling a powerful energy output of 16.5 to 18 GJ/mt. That’s nearly four times more energy than traditional wood sources such as firewood, wood chips, or sawdust.

Why Choose Marutibio Wood Pellets?

  • High Energy Density: Our pellets offer superior calorific value, making them highly efficient for combustion and ideal for both domestic and industrial use.

  • Efficient Logistics: Their compact form allows for easier storage and lower transportation costs, reducing overall environmental footprint.

  • Clean & Powerful Combustion: Marutibio pellets burn at higher temperatures with minimal ash production, outperforming most other biomass fuels.

  • Eco-friendly: Made from 100% pine sawdust, our pellets are a carbon-neutral energy source, supporting clean energy goals.

the future of development

What are biomass pellets?

Biomass pellets are a type of renewable fuel made from organic materials, such as wood, crop residues, agricultural waste, and other biomass feedstocks. These materials are compressed into small, dense pellets, usually cylindrical in shape, using a pellet mill. Biomass pellets are used as a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to fossil fuels for heating, power generation, and other applications.

Biomass pellets offer several benefits as a fuel source. They are renewable, sustainable, and emit lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil fuels. Biomass pellets are also cost-effective, versatile, and can be used in various applications, such as residential heating, industrial processes, and power generation. They are considered a cleaner and greener alternative to traditional fuels, promoting environmental sustainability and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

Biomass pellets are produced through a process called pelletization. Biomass feedstocks, such as wood chips, sawdust, crop residues, or agricultural waste, are first processed to reduce the moisture content. Then, the dried feedstocks are fed into a pellet mill, where they are compressed under high pressure through a die. The heat generated during the process softens the lignin in the biomass, which acts as a natural binder, holding the pellets together. The resulting biomass pellets are then cooled and screened to remove fines and ensure consistent quality.
